Ken Nisch, Chairman, JGA

Since 1971, JGA has built its reputation by assisting retailers and brands in realizing their visual marketing potential and attain leadership within their niche. Ken Nisch became JGA president in 1987 and chairman in 1995. As chairman, he works internationally with responsibilities that include client liaison and project strategy. His knowledge and entrepreneurial insights into the consumer are integrated into conceptual development and strategic image positioning for retail operators, manufacturers and brand marketers. Nisch is a member of the editorial boards for both DDI Magazine and the Association for Retail Environments. Since the award's inception, DDI Magazine has recognized Nisch as a "Retail Design Influencer," considered to be among the industry's 10 most influential members. A former international vice president of the Retail Design Institute, Nisch also serves as a board director to private and public retail companies. In 2009, he was inducted into the Retail Design Institute Legion of Honor, recognizing outstanding career achievement in the field of retail store design.
